Transcription Rates

Digital transcription

From 90p per audio minute, plus VAT, for an intelligent verbatim transcript of one-to-one interviews based on our standard turnaround of 2-3 days. The rate for focus group transcription is £1.00 per audio minute, plus VAT. Add an extra 10p, plus VAT, for 24 hour turnaround.

Verbatim transcription

Verbatim transcription is charged at a rate of £1.05 per audio minute, plus VAT, for one-to-one interviews or £1.15, plus VAT, for focus groups, i.e. if you require 'ums,' 'errs' etc. Add an extra 20p, plus VAT, for 24 hour turnaround or 10p, plus VAT, for 48 hour turnaround.

Transcription from cassette

£12.00 per hour. A 60 minute transcript would take around 3.5 to 4 hours to transcribe.
